Our Mission

​FAST (Family Autism Support Team) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that serves families impacted by Autism in Lowndes County & surrounding areas.

The mission of FAST is as follows: 

• Provide support and information to families impacted by ASD.

• All children are valuable.

• Children with ASD have significant educational needs.

• Children with ASD have significant social communication needs.

• Children with ASD have significant behavioral needs.

• Parents and families have the right to non-judgmental support.

• Parents and families have a right to respect.

• Parents and families have a right to compassion.

• Strong communities value children and engage families.

• Communities have the right to parent support groups that are culturally responsive.

• Communities grow through support from their own members.

• Communities benefit from equal treatment of all members.
